Interdiciplinary Approach on Arts and Arts Education
Background
The International Conference on Art and Arts Education (ICAAE) is the second conferences held by the Art Group at the Faculty of Languages and the Arts of Yogyakarta State University. This conference is based on the idea of facing global challenges in the future related to arts and art education issues as a material research object. Therefore theme themes related to environment-based art learning become one of the focus that can be captured in this conferencing. From the educational side, thematic art learning and the problem of artistic deferenceation that happened should also be discussed as a foundation to strengthen the application of art and culture curriculum currently being implemented. Another problem to anticipate lagging with other developing countries as well as developed countries, the aspect of mastery of information technology seems to be a fixed price, and must be realized in continuous learning can be done from basic to advanced. And finally that is not less important is the orientation of learning to foster creativity of learners is a necessity that must be grown from an early age. All aspects of this conferential background can not be separated from various approaches that can be done. By continuing to promote cultural diversity, research that refers to a multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary approach will be able to provide a cultivation of scientific treasures especially in the arts and culture.
