Travel & Visa
Before travelling to the Yogyakarta, Indonesia, please check here to see whether you need a visa.
ASEAN countries citizen do not need a visa to enter Indonesia.
The conference venue is located 4 km west of Adisutjipto International Airport of Yogyakarta which is a hub to more than 50 direct flights from and to Bali, Jakarta, Surabaya, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Airlines that fly to Yogyakarta are Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air, Sriwijaya Air, Silkair, and Airasia.
Health and Insurance
The participants are requested to arrange their own insurance for health, travel and property. The Organising Committee will not accept any liability for personal injuries, loss or damage of property.
Currency and Money Exchange
The official currency of Indonesia is Indonesian Dollar Rupiah (IDR). Credit cards and travellers’ cheques are accepted in most hotels and shops, and nearly all ATMs accept international bank cards.
Other countries' banks don’t generally exchange IDR. You should exchange any unwanted IDR before leaving Indonesia. You should only change money through banks or official exchange offices and not through street moneychangers.
Electrical sockets in supplies electricity at between 220 and 240 volts AC.
