Background
The 3rd International Conference on Science Education (ICoSEd) is a scientific meeting for science academics or educators to share insights, findings, ideas, experiences, and research results in the field of Science Education. The 3rd ICoSEd is organized by PPII (Indonesian Society of Science Educators) and Natural Science Education Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. This conference will take place in Yogyakarta, November 6, 2021 through online.
The 3rd ICoSEd theme is "Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) 2030: The Impacts, Challenges, and Strategies in Science Education". ESD is an effort to encourage people to be constructive and creative in facing global challenges and to create resilient and sustainable communities. Education for sustainable development enables every human being to acquire the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values necessary to shape a sustainable future. Education for sustainable development incorporates key issues of sustainable development into teaching and learning.
